Description

Duties Included :

• Responsible for daily Pre-Task Planning of work performed in the field.
• Assist journeyman pipefitters or peers with the demolition, de-installation, rigging, fitting, and / or installation of equipment, supports, and pipe on site.
• Communicate clearly verbally, digitally, and in writing.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Proactively receive mentoring from a journeyman pipefitter or Supervisors.
• Learn and apply knowledge of the following :
• Layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systems
• Making and reading isometric drawings
• Reading construction plans and shop drawings for pipe systems
• Inspecting and testing piping systems
• Piping industry codes
• Secure and maintain basic tools and perform all tasks to standard.
• Follow all established safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain an alcohol and drug free work environment.
• Report all injuries to safety personnel and foreman immediately.
• May be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays
• Other duties as assigned.
