Key Responsibilities :
- Implement physician orders and administer medications, including starting IVs and performing treatments as outlined by company policy and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions accurately.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for care, ensuring comprehensive treatment plans.
- Utilize sound nursing judgment in managing patient care decisions effectively.
- Provide primary and emergency care for a variety of injuries and illnesses.
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized Plans of Care.
- Guide and support ancillary personnel to uphold professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications :
Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree).Current NYS Registered Nurse license.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and the ability to apply them effectively.Thank you for considering a career with Albany Medical Center.
