Moshe Calamaro & Associates, Inc., is a growing architectural and structural engineering consulting firm in Evanston, Illinois. We provide architecture and structural engineering services from complete structural design (design, drawings, specifications, shop drawings and site observations) to sizing up structural elements of a residential addition. We work on a wide variety of projects including :

  • New and renovations of condominiums / apartment buildings
  • Loft conversions
  • Schools
  • Shopping Centers
  • Office buildings
  • High rise façade inspections
  • Commercial
  • Residential

We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to add to our team.

Engineer Candidate Requirements

  • Illinois Structural Engineer, E.I.
  • High communication skills and ability to host clients in a relaxed manner
  • Detailed knowledge of Chicago and surrounding municipalities building codes and industry standards
  • The ability to work independently from project acquisition to completion of permit / construction documents
  • Structural Engineer with 2+ years of full-time experience in the U.S., in building design utilizing wood, steel, concrete and masonry. Advanced knowledge of engineering software (RISA, EnerCalc) & AutoCAD 2015 is required; you will be drafting your own projects
  • Required 40 hours in office
