Position Overview The Adjunct Faculty member teaches Technology courses to students in the Bachelor in Science program.
Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes . What you will be doing - Teaches courses
- Evaluates and advises students
- Develops curricula
- Recruits students
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed - Doctorate or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering); or Doctorate or Master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
- Flexibility to teach off site with industry partners
- Abilty to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to provide both theoretical and hands on instruction in the classroom
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work well in a multi-ethic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty, staff and the community
- Must be able to function well in a technological environment
