Foundations - Project Engineer - Gulf Coast

Position Overview

Kiewit Foundations District is seeking motivated and skilled Project Engineers to join our team in the Gulf Coast region, primarily in Louisiana and Mississippi. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for constructing a project's administrative and technical aspects, managing a team of field and cost engineers. You will be the main conduit of information between the construction manager and the team for cost, revenue, and cash flow information. We seek individuals with strong interpersonal and information management skills and mentorship abilities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop the people below you. Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of foundation construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other team members to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Perform scheduling of the project.
• Manage revenue, cost, and cash flow.
• Oversee temporary engineering and permanent design management.
• Ensure quality control.
• Handle project closeout and client relations.
• Assist in operations planning.
• Administer contracts and subcontracts.
