Our client, a successful, growing multispecialty provider organization, is seeking a full-time physician to join their Urgent Care practice in the Bakersfield area. New Grads are encouraged to apply.

Location Details Bakersfield, California :

  • Known for its semiarid Mediterranean climate
  • Voted one of the top places to live in 2019 by U.S. News and World Report
  • Only two hours driving distance to Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Pismo Beach
  • More affordable than other areas in California
  • Homes can be 3 times less than property in Los Angeles

Outdoor Activities Include :

  • Within reach of hiking, skiing, mountain biking
  • Kayaking and river rafting on the Kern River
  • Access to the Eastern Sierras, Sequoia National Park, Death Valley National Park

    • Position Details :

  • Offers a strong clinical support team and patient-centered administrative staff.
  • Guaranteed three 12-hour shifts per week, additional shifts may be available.
  • The hours of operation for each shift will be from 8 : 00 a.m. through 9 : 00 p.m.
  • A nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) may be assigned to you for supervision.
  • Will be a role model ensuring the provision of personalized, high-quality patient care.

    • Compensation :

  • $300K to $350K depending on experience
  • Sign on / Relocation bonus
  • Performance / Production bonus

    • Qualifications :

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Open to physicians with various levels of experience
  • Valid, unrestricted California medical license
  • BLS, PALS, ACLS certification
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • DEA Certification
