Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education teacher position is available at the high school level, focusing on supporting students with Emotional Disorders. This contract role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment where you will lead self-contained classrooms, with the assistance of at least one classroom aide, to deliver tailored educational experiences.

Key responsibilities include :

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with Emotional Disorders
• Managing classroom behavior and fostering a positive learning environment
• Collaborating with aides, staff, and families to support student progress and well-being
• Monitoring and assessing student performance and adjusting instructional strategies as needed
