This position reports to the Director of Community Benefits and Community Relations (CBCR) and plays a crucial role in developing, implementing, and evaluating CBCR programs across eleven hospitals. The role involves designing evaluation plans, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to optimize resource investments, ensure regulatory compliance, and maximize community impact.
The Manager will conduct Community Health Needs Assessments, develop implementation strategies, and ensure programs align with organizational goals and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include developing metrics, training stakeholders, creating reports and dashboards, and evaluating program sustainability and impact.
This role is remote / hybrid, requiring at least one onsite day per week in Charlestown, MA.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Design, implement, and evaluate evidence-based programs aligned with BILH strategic goals, managing timelines and budgets.
Develop and manage evaluation plans, KPIs, logic models, and theories of change to inform strategy and resource allocation.
Support database design, data analysis, grant management, and impact measurement.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements, including SROI.
Advise on goal setting, indicators, and evaluation methods; create evidence-based strategies.
Manage Community Health Needs Assessments and Implementation Strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Analyze data using appropriate statistical methods, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Oversee evaluators and develop dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Support behavior change initiatives within the department.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
5-8 years’ experience in program design and evaluation, with management experience.
Experience conducting CHNA and program evaluation.
Knowledge of health care systems, community organizations, and policy.
Grant writing and management experience.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel).
Effective communicator of complex data.
