The Position

Examples of Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to
- Plan and organize daily workload
- Maintain simple recordkeeping systems
- Develop information from the public and other sources to identify persons to be served
- Evaluate situations and people accurately and adopt effective courses of action
- Learn the procedure for the service of different types of process
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Safely operate a motor vehicle
- Speak, read, and write English at a level necessary for successful job performance.
Employment Qualifications
There are no minimum education or experience requirements for this class.
Special Requirements
All persons appointed to positions in this class:
- Must possess a valid California Drivers License, Class C or higher, by date of appointment; failure to maintain such license may be cause for personnel action under Civil Service Commission Rule 11.4.
and Must be at least 18 years old by date of appointment pursuant to California Civil Procedures.
and Must be able to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays if needed.
