Serverless Developer

We're looking for an expert Serverless Developer to join our inclusive, tight-knit team at ! This position is ideally for someone looking for a full-time permanent role, but we are also open to initial contracting arrangements.

We're looking for a Serverless Developer who wants to work on a modernServerless stack like this.This person will report directly to our CTO, creating new infrastructure and APIs that drive our mobile and web apps. This role needs someone with recent real-world experience developing scalable Serverless AWS applications. Youre gonna fit this role well if youre an experienced developer who is continually learning and excited to try new things! At 3Advance, we'll value your opinion, even if we don't always agree. This means digging deep for one another and accepting other opinions - more experienced and from very different perspectives.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 6+ years of API development experience
• Javascript (Node.js) expertise
• Restful API and GraphSQL experience (eg. AppSync)
• Experience in building event-driven applications in AWS
• Familiarity with other major cloud providers (GCP, Azure)
• Experience with relational and non-relational (DynamoDB) databases
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and solid DevOps knowledge
• Interest in emerging technologies, languages, and patterns
• The ability to work effectively with other developers and staff
• Other front/backend tech: React or Angular.js
• Experience and confidence in Agile development
• Ability to overlap your schedule at least half the day with our DC HQ (EST)
• Solid communication skills - and comfortable with video calls
