Job Description
The Associate for Cloud Data Ops team role focuses on Snowflake and BI tools for Cloud data platform. This role will be responsible providing operations support as part of a team of engineers that spans different region. The role will work closely with application development teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to raise and resolve technical support incidents.
Primary Responsibilities
- Practical experience working with Snowflake, Linux, Python, ETL and Scheduler tools.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Snowflake service offerings.
- Experience in IT related to cloud data platforms, compute, storage, and network architecture and engineering.

- 7 Snowflake operations team, resolve critical production issues by participating in Major Incident Management (MIM) calls, engaging proper teams, and driving root cause analysis.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery / Loss of Region events (planned and unplanned) completing tasks and collecting evidence.
- Support audit requests in a timely fashion providing needed documentation and evidence.
- Review and update knowledge articles and runbooks with application development teams to confirm information is up to date.
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and communicating openly with team members and management.

Technical Qualifications :
Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT primarily related to cloud platforms.3+ years practical experience working with Snowflake.Hands on experience in AWS, and cloud technologies, Linux, Python and SQL.Experience with ETL and Scheduler tools, automation tool such as Terraform and ability to perform root cause analysis in a highly regulated environment.Experience with PowerBI, Sigma, Looker, and BI tools.Experience with enterprise level applications.Experience with alerting, monitoring, dashboard, and escalation.Good analytical and communication skills.Education, Training, or Certification :
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or engineering preferred.Snowflake Snowpro certification is preferred.
