You are familiar with municipalities, utilities, and environmental firms preferred. Flexible schedule – work as little or as much as you’d like each week. Stay active in the industry and leverage your hard-earned experience. Minimal administrative burden – focus on conversations, not paperwork. Competitive hourly rate or commission structure (customizable).

We’re seeking an experienced Drinking Water / Wastewater Engineer who’s ready to leverage their industry knowledge and professional network in a part-time sales and marketing capacity . This role is ideal for a retired or semi-retired professional who enjoys building relationships, sharing expertise, and helping municipalities, engineering firms, and industrial clients find effective water and wastewater solutions.
What You’ll Do :
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients in the drinking water and wastewater markets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry connections.
- Provide technical insight and credibility when discussing products or services with clients.
- Attend industry events, association meetings, and professional conferences as needed (reimbursed).
- Collaborate with internal technical and project teams to ensure client needs are understood and met.
- Maintain communication of sales activities and pipeline updates.
