ATI GROUND COORDINATOR

Job Title

This position is responsible for performing, coordinating, and overseeing cargo & ground operations in accordance with the Company's Cargo & Ground Operations Manual, HAZMAT Manual, Weight & Balance, and other documents pertaining to loading / unloading, cargo build-up and overall ramp duties. This person will also work with ATI Operations and Flight Crew and will assist the Global Cargo & Ground Operations Manager / Chief Loadmaster with Special Projects within the department.

Job Functions

• Verifies eligibility of cargo offered for airlift
• Determines quantity type, and size of cargo loaded according to aircraft limitations
• Preplans, computes, and ensures cargo is loaded according to load plan
• Ensures all cargo documentation, packaging, labeling, and marketing requirements have been met
• Checks cargo against manifests, and annotates overage, shortage, or damage
• Determines and implements necessary safety and security precautions involving aircraft
• Calculates and secures cargo with appropriate restraints devices and equipment
• Supervises and conducts aircraft loading and offloading
• Ground security for aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo
• Performs other administrative and operational duties as required
• Stock aircraft with supplies
