Emergency Department

Volunteers assist staff in the Emergency Department by checking on patients and families as well as a variety of other tasks.

Volunteer must be comfortable speaking with patients; must be considerate in relating to the needs of patients and visitors; must have successfully completed the hospital orientation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills

3 shifts available:

• Weekdays (can volunteer earlier in the morning as well).: 09:00 to 13:00 CST
• Weekdays and Weekends: 13:00 to 17:00 CST
• Weekdays and Weekends (can volunteer later as well): 17:00 to 21:00 CST
