Salary Range : $45,000 - $50,000

Position Summary :
The Assistant Scientist, under the supervision of Dr. Young-Jin Son in the Lewis Katz School of Medicine's Center for Neural Development and Repair (CNDR), will serve as a lab manager / technician in a neurobiology laboratory. The lab employs mouse genetics, molecular, cellular, and behavioral approaches to study and restore damaged peripheral and spinal cord nerve connections.
Primary responsibilities include mouse genotyping and general laboratory management, with active participation in ongoing research projects. The successful candidate will perform experiments, assist other researchers, and contribute to data collection and analysis. Prior experience with mice, molecular, or biochemical techniques is strongly preferred.
