The Town Of Brookline's Department Of Public Works Is Seeking Reliable And Skilled Heavy Motor Equipment Operators (Meo Ii) To Join Our Highway And Sanitation Division. This Position Plays A Key Role In Maintaining Safe And Clean Streets, Supporting Essential Sanitation Services, And Responding To Snow And Ice Emergencies Throughout The Year.

The Meo Ii Operates A Variety Of Heavy Vehicles And Equipment, Including Dump Trucks, Front-end Loaders, Street Sweepers, And Sanitation Packers.

Typical Duties Include :

• Performing Road, Sidewalk, And Pothole Repairs
• Transporting Materials And Personnel To Job Sites
• Collecting Trash, Yard Waste, And Dumpsters
• Conducting Daily Vehicle Inspections And Basic Maintenance
• Operating Plows, Sanders, And Other Equipment During Snow And Ice Operations
• Assisting With Emergency And Storm Response Efforts As Needed
• Performs All Related Duties As Required.
