Trillium Construction is hiring for Machine Operators in the Quincy, MA area!

The Machine Operator is responsible for working a computerized control system on one or more refinery systems (hydrolyzer, fractionator, O/S, Stills, Evaporation Trains, Glycerin Refinery and other ancillary systems) to safely produce quality fatty acids per customer specifications.

Candidates will be responsible for the startup process by turning valves, moving handles, and observing display screens and making other various adjustments to machines to bring product into proper specs. Will be asked to perform safety inspections on machines and perform cleanup of assigned working areas. May be asked to participate in some of the routine maintenance work.

Pay range will be $22-26 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule will be 6:00 AM-6:00 PM and could work either day or night shift. Night shift is 6 PM - 6 AM. Night shift differential is $3 more per hour. Rotating weeks go as follows, first week is Mon, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday. Second week is Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday. 48 hours first week and 36 for the second week.

Experience required:
-Understanding of basic computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, outlook, etc.
-Manufacturing, previous machining exp is a huge plus.
-Frequent walking, lifting up to 50lbs, pushing, pulling, carrying objects
-Ability to work in all weather conditions
-Able to follow customer specifications and thinking on the fly
