As a Hospital Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard a high profile healthcare customer. The Hospital Security Officer is responsible for the surveillance of the client's healthcare premises and the protection of the staff, members, and visitors. A Hospital Security Professional detects and prevents any suspicious activity, observe and reports incidents, and provides customer service in a friendly and professional manner. Payrate: $24.00 per hour. Location: Sylmar, California. Excellent benefits and career growth opportunities. We offer attractive payroll options like daily or weekly pay. Paid training and uniforms provided. Must have 1 year security experience within the last 3 years with an active guard card. Must have a clean background and driving record. Free County healthcare. Must have High School diploma or GED or Official Transcripts.

As an Unarmed Security Officer you will serve and safeguard clients in a Government Building.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, enforce site-specific policies, and if appropriate emergency response. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter. Work environment and conditions may vary by client site. Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs.

Qualifications:

Possess effective written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of client personnel and the general public in a professional manner. Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology for personnel management and fulfilling security duties. Possess the skills to handle crisis situations at client sites in a calm and efficient manner. Ability to:

• Work in various environments such as cold or hot weather, rain or snow
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Possess a current Guard Card and any other licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations that may be required prior to employment. As a condition of employment the candidate must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Possess a valid driver's license, required for driving positions only. Must have at least 1 year of security experience within the past 3 years; or military and/or law enforcement experience.
