Payment Specialist

Insight Global is seeking a Payments Specialist to join their team. The role is located in either Greenville, SC, Schenectady, NY, or remote (EST preferred). This position is within the logistics division of a large energy company, but prior logistics knowledge is not needed, but would be preferred. This position is extremely task oriented because thousands of invoices are processed on a given day and require validation through the online system. Auditing of the errors must be analyzed to understand why an invoice came back incorrect so the payment specialist will work with the project manager to determine how / why the error exists. An analytical mindset is needed for this role in order to address large batches of invoicing data that comes back incorrect. Someone who is analytical is able to look at the data, identify trends, and address the issue within the system would be able to identify the solution quickly. Overall, this is a task-oriented position and the payments specialist just needs to be a self-starter and be willing to ask questions when needed. This role is Monday-Friday, 7 : 30-4 : 30 with flexibility. This is a growing company with room for growth in the role as well. A self-starter looking for hands-on, fast-paced work would be a great fit for this position.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years experience working within payments and invoicing
• Ability to handle a high volume of invoices (fast-paced environment)
• Extremely high attention to detail to audit invoices and data
• Experience analyzing data to identify trends
• Problem solver with a self-starter mentality to address changes to improve efficiency

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plus : Logistics industry or supply chain industry experience
