MRI Technologist - Mercy South - Full Time Afternoon / Evening

Find your calling at Mercy! Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Position Details : MRI Technologist Mercy Hospital South 10010 Kennerly Road St. Louis, Missouri 63128 Schedule : Monday - Friday, 12p - 830p Qualifications Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or MRI Technologist program, with completion of required clinical hours. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience : Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or recent graduate of a bachelor's degree program. Licensure / Certifications : ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required. Must hold at least one advanced registry in MRI and be actively working in the modality. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. Skills & Knowledge : Proficient in IV insertion. Strong technical skills in medical imaging, including cross-sectional anatomy and 3D imaging. Ability to operate MRI scanners, power injectors, imaging workstations, and related computer systems.
