Role Responsibilities

  • Represent the hotel's services and facilities to prospective clients with confidence and professionalism.
  • Proactively generate revenue through strategic sales planning, cold calling, and targeted client outreach.
  • Build, maintain, and nurture strong client relationships while ensuring exceptional guest service.
  • Track, report, and analyze sales performance to drive results and optimize strategies.
  • Requirements for Success

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales or account management, with strong negotiation and closing skills. Hotel experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Highly skilled in prospecting, cold calling, and closing new business; comfortable with client outreach and follow-up.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to protect the property's interests while maintaining client goodwill.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other sales-related software; able to produce reports and track sales performance accurately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present ideas and information clearly and professionally.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize conflicting tasks, manage a personal workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor; demonstrates confidence, integrity, and enthusiasm.
  • Able to follow sales plans, marketing action items, and departmental SOPs.
  • Maintain high visibility in the community, including local CVB and professional organizations.
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape and operational capabilities of the property.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships, build customer loyalty, and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience managing group sales, resolving conflicts, and collaborating with internal teams.
