Our 70-year-old global Aerospace & Defense client has asked The Maven Group to locate several talented CMM Programmers to join a growing team. This role is located in a the Buffalo, NY area.

This position is a direct-hire, full-time role. This role requires the chosen candidate to be in the New York area. My client will provide relocation packages for ideal candidates who need assistance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Zeiss Calypso software, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and quality control procedures and act as a technical lead of the site CMM programming group, plan and manage team workload.

To be considered as the ideal candidate, you should possess :

• Associate's degree (or equivalent) in a technical field. May consider combination of education / experience in lieu of degree.
• At least 7 years of programming experience, Zeiss CMM and Calypso software preferred.
• The ability to demonstrate above average knowledge of complex GD&T.
