The main function of a Technical Writer is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files.

Job Responsibilities :

• Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions
• Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication
• Collection / Documentation of documentation requirements (use case, audience, objective of documentation prior to creation / development stage).
• Create / Draft / Maintain technical documentation (further details noted in ‘types of technical documents within scope).
• Editorial Review and Co-Collaboration with subject matter experts to produce technical documentation that has high levels of clarity and actionability.
• Accountable for evaluating / monitoring document readiness for broad consumption and / or launch.
• Create / Draft / Maintain marketing content and communication templates related to program delivery.

Qualifications :

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $49 to $52 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
