We have partnered with our client in their search for a C++ Developer to work remotely.

Responsibilities

high-caliber Senior C++ Software Engineer specializing in transactional, low-latency API development and cloud-native architecture. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and scaling of our Enterprise Services Platform (ESP)

Architect & Develop : Design and implement high-performance, scalable C++ services using modern standards (C++17 / 20 / 23).
Cloud-Native Integration : Deploy and manage microservices within Kubernetes, optimizing for resource efficiency and latency in Azure.
API Leadership : Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP-based interfaces using JSON and XML, ensuring seamless data exchange across LexisNexis applications.
Full Lifecycle Ownership : Drive the SDLC from requirements gathering and design through to automated testing, CI / CD deployment, and production monitoring.
Security & Compliance : Partner with Information Security to implement "Security by Design," ensuring all middleware meets rigorous data protection standards.

Skills Required

C++ Mastery : 5+ years of professional experience in Object-Oriented C++ development, with a deep understanding of memory management and multi-threading.

Web Services : 2+ years of experience building and consuming distributed web services (REST / SOAP).

Data Systems : Proficiency with Relational Databases (MySQL, Sybase) and an understanding of NoSQL / Big Data integration.

Linux / Unix Expertise : Strong command of Linux environments, including shell scripting and system-level performance tuning.

Education & Work Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
