About The Position

We are seeking an Acute Care Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in DC. This opportunity begins on Jan 12, 2026, with a 135-day assignment, featuring full-time, weekday day shifts from 8am to 4pm. The role focuses on adult inpatient care, including rounding and history / physicals.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform rounding and history / physicals on adult inpatient units
  • Provide acute care management for hospitalized adults
  • Collaborate with attending physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Document patient encounters and progress in accordance with facility protocols

    • Additional Information

  • DC state licensure required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Acute care NP background preferred
