Electrical Panel Assembler
Location : Mukilteo, WA
Employment Type : Full-time contract : 2-4 months
Compensation : $28 / hr-$40 / hr
Schedule : 7 AM-4 PM, Mon-Fri
About the Role
Insight Global is seeking several Control Panel Assemblers for a local client of theirs in the Mukilteo, Washington area. The client is a recognized leader in the distribution and manufacturing of power and control systems. They design, build, and deliver custom solutions for a wide range of applications, including sewage lift stations, water booster stations, telemetry, SCADA, remote monitoring, and chemical process systems. Their work supports municipal, industrial, and commercial clients with industrial controls and plant-wide automation solutions.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience with control panels, PLCs, VFDs, and related software. Electrical skills and assembly knowledge are required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Pay is DOE, with opportunities for wage advancement based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Plan and layout panels according to drawings and UL508A standards.
- Drill and cut back pans for mounting devices and wiring ducts.
- Mount and label all devices, ensuring proper torque requirements.
- Wire panels per electrical drawings, installation manuals, and best practices.
- Prepare panels for testing and ensure quality assurance through peer checks.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment and follow direction from leads.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM.
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of electrical knowledge and wiring experience.Experience with basic construction and tool usage (drills, jigsaws, punches, stud welders).Ability to read electrical drawings and understand UL508A standards.Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).Ability to work independently and take direction.Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass MVR / DMV check.Forklift certification and OSHA 10 / 30 safety knowledge preferred (training available).Must comply with random drug testing as part of a drug-free workplace.Benefits
