Insurance Customer Service Representative

Gallagher Charter Lakes is looking for an Insurance Customer Service Representative to join their growing team. This is a full-time hybrid position. The typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5 pm EST. Do you have a passion for customer service and are looking to work alongside an award-winning industry leader? How You'll Make An Impact

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Provides customer service to a variety of customers over the telephone.
  • Interacts with insureds and explains coverages, updates account information, and processes renewals and cancellations.
  • Responsible for the servicing of existing clients-identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Receives and responds to customer service inquiries both written and verbal.
  • Follows-up on customer issues, researches problems, and processes documents necessary to ensure a successful resolution.
  • Provides accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods / tools.
  • Handles calls and correspondence that are predominantly routine but may require some deviation from standard procedures.

About You

Required :

  • High school diploma and a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Strong typing and basic computer skills.
  • Preferred :

  • Working knowledge of MS systems, i.e., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Active P / C license or willing to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Behaviors :

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism with clients and establishes a positive rapport with every caller.
