Teaching Assistant

Overview

The Teacher's assistant will assist in clinical courses helping students learn manual skills and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assisting student with development of psychomotor skills.

• Preparing the laboratory environment with appropriate equipment and maintaining a safe environment.

• Student assessment/lab practical grading.

• Sharing clinical insights.

• Contextualizing didactic information for clinical application.

Qualifications

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

• Proven effective interpersonal and conflict-management skills

• Ability to take initiative in tasks that occur regularly at certain times of the year (ex: in preparation for an upcoming semester)

• Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in a team environment

• Experience with clinical skills and procedures being taught

Maximum Salary

USD $70.00/Hr.

Minimum Salary

USD $50.00/Hr.
