Job Description

As a Security Officer - Telecom Facility Patrols in West Chester, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment for all. Pay Rate : $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the business facility and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents as outlined in company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment.
  • Assist visitors and employees with directions and general information as needed while maintaining site protocols.
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
