Seeking a NURSE PRACTITIONER / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT interested in geriatrics :

Brown Medicine is a multi-specialty faculty practice group affiliated with Alpert Medical School. Brown Medicine is a large physician group based in Rhode Island and offers competitive salary and outstanding benefits.

We are seeking a full-time nurse practitioner / physician assistant to join our Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine. Nursing home / Hospital experience is preferred. Our team consists of 13 physicians and 5 nurse practitioners. Our nurse practitioners are valued members of our teams and collaborate with the attending physicians in nursing home, ambulatory care, and palliative care consultation programs.

Our NPs hold Alpert Medical School faculty appointments, in recognition of the teaching they do – medical and nursing students, residents and fellows. Faculty appointment is optional. This is a day position, Monday through Friday, with limited evening and weekend telephone call responsibility, shared with geriatric medicine fellows and physician attending back-up.

Qualifications : MSN from accredited NP program with national certification as a FNP, ANP or GNP or a certified graduate of a Physician Assistant program. Rhode Island licensure required.
