Summary / Objective

Midwest Holding is looking for an Internal Wholesaler drives sales by building strong relationships with IMO principals, marketers, and their agents through proactive outreach and consultative support. They will work in close collaboration with the Director of Internal Sales and the VP of Annuity Distribution to execute American Life’s distribution strategy and achieve growth goals.

Essential Functions

• Partner with the Director of Internal Sales and VP of Annuity Distribution to execute sales campaigns and deliver on distribution growth strategies.
• Support the VP of Annuity Distribution in cultivating high-value IMO relationships and onboarding new distribution partners.
• Conduct frequent and proactive touchpoints with IMOs, principals, marketers, and agents to build engagement and drive sales.
• Schedule, coordinate, and lead webinars, conference calls, and virtual meetings to educate distribution partners on American Life products.
• Lead proactive outbound call campaigns to increase advisor activity and production.
• Provide consultative support on products, services, compensation structures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Follow up on leads from the Phone Team and marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate with the Service Team for escalated issues and exception requests.
• Participate in occasional travel for conferences and distribution partner events.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and communicate with others. This may be over the phone, in person, or through email and messaging. The employee must be able to hear customers and agents over the phone. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and use their hands and fingers to work with the computer, phones, filing cabinets, paperwork, etc.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. CT. Additional hours as needed to complete tasks and meet deadlines.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

Work Authorization / Security Clearance

Must be eligible to work in the United States.
