Director of Resident Engagement – Fay J. Lindner Residences Assisted Living Community

We currently have a unique career opportunity for a Director of Resident Engagement for our Fay J. Lindner Residences Assisted Living community who can work full‑time hours and exemplifies the passion and commitment that is required to deliver the ultimate care for our residents.

Pay

Base pay range : $70,000.00 / yr – $75,000.00 / yr (actual pay based on skills and experience)

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and implement recreation and activities programs in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate and promote therapeutic recreation and treatment programs as an integral member of the treatment team.
  • Origin new and unique programs for residents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or equivalent; 3 years experience working with adults in a DOH‑overseen facility, with 1 year in program operations.
  • At least two years full‑time experience working in assisted living with knowledge of the dementia population and related behaviors.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct therapeutic recreation programs using appropriate leadership styles.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying equipment and materials; able to transport residents to and from recreation areas.
  • Maintains equipment and supply inventory; demonstrates appropriate time management skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to resolve conflicts effectively, maintain confidentiality regarding resident information, and recognize residents’ rights to control personal information.
  • Communicates effectively with residents, staff, families, and co‑workers.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule when needed.

    Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 am – 5 : 00 pm
