Technical Lead – Greenfield Syndicated Loan Platform

We’re looking for a Technical Lead to help build a brand-new syndicated loan system from the ground up. You’ll guide the technical direction across six Scrum teams using Scrum@Scale and Extreme Programming (XP). This role blends hands-on engineering, architecture, cross-team leadership, and strong partnership with business stakeholders.

Technology Stack

· Backend: Java, Spring Boot

· Frontend: React

· Storage: PostgreSQL, Azure Blob Storage

· Messaging: Azure Event Hubs (Kafka)

· APIs: REST

What You’ll Do

· Lead technical design and architecture for a greenfield, enterprise-scale platform.

· Work hands-on with Java/Spring Boot and guide front-end and API integration.

· Shape event-driven workflows using Azure Event Hubs.

· Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

· Foster a strong engineering culture with XP practices (TDD, pair programming, CI/CD).

· Build a trusted, transparent environment across six Scrum teams.

· Mentor developers and reinforce best practices for quality, security, and reliability.

What We’re Looking For

· 8+ years of engineering experience, including technical leadership roles.

· Strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.

· Experience with PostgreSQL, cloud storage, and Kafka/Event Hubs.

· Ability to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, align, and build trust.

· Comfortable in multi-team Agile environments (Scrum, XP, Scrum@Scale).
