    • About the Role

    The Company is in search of a Chair of Behavioral Health, a pivotal role that demands a progressive and visionary physician leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of all current programs, the development of a strategic plan for the growth and future of behavioral health, and the supervision of clinical, educational, and research activities. This leadership position requires a commitment to ensuring high-quality patient care, fostering a collaborative environment, and promoting the department's growth and development. The Chair will also be tasked with leading through influence and authority, forging collaborative yet accountable relationships with diverse stakeholders, and advocating for the best interests of patients in terms of service, cost, and quality.

    Applicants for the Chair of Behavioral Health at the company must be eligible for a medical license in North Carolina, with board certification in Psychiatry. A minimum of 5 years' clinical experience in behavioral health, with a preference for 10+ years, is required, along with a proven track record of progressive leadership responsibilities. The role demands a dynamic leader with the ability to empower and hold accountable provider team members, as well as the skill to navigate provider partnerships and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. The Chair will be expected to articulate and execute the values of the organization, advocating for the best possible outcomes for patients.
