Opportunity Specifics : Contract Type : CRNA Locum Tenens Start Date : ASAP - Ongoing Schedule : Full-Time Call Shift Options : 10 hours (7 : 00AM-5 : 00PM) 12 hours (7 : 00AM-7 : 00PM) Call : 7PM-7AM during the week (30% call back) and 7AM-7AM on the weekends (80% call back). CRNAs take weekday call approximately once a month and twice a year on weekends Practice : 10 MD, 36 CRNA Anesthesia Care Team Model Operating Rooms : 19 ORS plus Endo, Cardiac and OB Annual Volume : 15,000 OR cases annually. In addition, approximately 2000 deliveries and 300 cardiac case including TAVR, mitral valve clip and watchman procedures, on and off pump, CABG, cardiac ablation and TEE Cases : General, Ortho, Urology, ENT / Ophthalmology, Bariatric, Vascular, Neuro, Thoracic, GYN, Dermatology, Plastic, Cardiac and OB. Job Description : Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and / or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring patient’s physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Experience / proficiency in : Epidurals, Spinals & Blocks Candidate Requirements : Active Massachusetts State License Graduate of an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS Clear personal & professional background
