Job Description Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. An established pediatric hospital near Fresno is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist with expertise in hematology / oncology and bone marrow transplant to join their pharmacy team as a direct hire. This role is integral to sustaining excellence in medication management and patient safety within the hospitals pharmacy department. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy and collaborating with pharmacy leadership, you will oversee compliance with medication safety regulations and drive continuous practice improvements based on evidence and data. Your responsibilities include developing and updating policies, educating staff on safety and regulatory topics, and serving as a medication safety advocate across hospital disciplines. Experience with Medication Error Reporting Programs (MERP) and proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records are highly valued. Key Qualifications : Doctor of Pharmacy degree (required) Registered Pharmacist licensure with California State Board of Pharmacy (required) BLS certification (American Heart Association) to be completed within the first 30 days of employment Accredited residency program experience (preferred) Additional certifications (e.g., ASHP / ISMP Medication Safety Certificate) are a plus Minimum five years of hospital pharmacy experience, with at least two years in management preferred Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and accreditation requirements Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Location : Clovis, CA Schedule : Full-time, 40 hours per week Day shift, five 8-hour shifts This opportunity is reserved for candidates outside the Fresno area to maintain discretion and respect current employee status.
