Data Engineer

Position Description :

This position is located in our Lafayette, Louisiana office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Due to the nature of government contracts, US citizenship or Permanent Residence with 3 years residence is required.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• . Design, build, and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines for large-scale data integration.
• . Optimize data workflows using tools like Apache Airflow, Spark, Kafka, and Databricks.
• . Develop solutions for structured and unstructured data across data lakes and warehouses.
• . Collaborate with application and AI teams to ensure seamless data flow for APIs and ML models.
• . Implement data quality checks, versioning, and governance standards.
• . Support CI / CD processes for data engineering and ensure compliance with security and privacy requirements.
• . Troubleshoot and optimize performance for high-volume data processing.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

o ETL / ELT pipeline development using Airflow, Spark, dbt, Kafka, or similar tools.

o Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (or Scala).

o Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data lakes (Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture).
