Job Description Summary

At Bel, the Sales Analyst role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in driving our success with customers in the Club, Value, Natural Grocery and Military channels. This position focuses on leveraging data-driven insights to analyze sales trends, optimize the marketing mix, and craft compelling selling stories across multiple product categories. From maintaining accurate product listings to creating custom reports and supporting e-commerce initiatives, you will directly impact business decisions and operational efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Reporting : (50 %)

  • Create, implement, and maintain weekly sales reports to provide insights into product performance.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to support decision-making.
  • Maintain sales reporting, analytics, and models that track and drive insights for the marketing mix (price, promotion, product, and place).
  • Identify, analyze, interpret trends and patterns to generate meaningful operational and commercial insights.
  • Deliver clear insights from data analytics and to help create a compelling selling story for multiple customers from various categories.

Item Creation, Maintenance and Promotional Support (25 %)

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product listings in compliance with customer guidelines.
  • Ensure the completeness of product information, pricing, and attributes.
  • Coordinating product samples, demo's, promotional set up forms and commitment tracking.
  • E-Commerce Content (15 %)

  • Partnering with eComm analyst to maintain accurate & up-to-date online product content
  • Marketplace Analytics (10 %)

  • Provide ad-hoc reporting as needed to support business operations.
  • Assist other functional areas in developing business opportunities and provide information as needed.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum degree and experience :

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required based on experience
  • Experience working with consumption and shipment data required
  • 2+ years of analytical and / or sales experience is preferred
  • Skills and Competencies

  • MS Excel / PowerPoint advanced skills required
  • Ability to work effectively within a cross functional team environment
  • Proven ability to use data to draw insights that are actionable and will drive growth
  • Ability to summarize and influence decisions through data
  • Ability to assess the marketplace and various consumer retail business models
  • Intellectual curiosity : self-motivated desire to search for creative solutions that can improve the way of doing things.
  • Strong digital literacy, including MS Office Suite applications, database information sources, web applications, retailer data, syndicated data (Nielsen / IRI) required
  • Working Conditions

    This is a remote based role that will collaborate via email and Teams with a 5-person team remotely based across the country. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 40 hours a week. There will be in person meeting expectations a few times a year. At times there will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines and other concerns. Up to 10% business travel may be required.

    Total Rewards

  • Base Salary : $75,000 -$90,000
  • Bonus Opportunity : 10%
