Our client, a privately-owned investment management firm, located in the heart of downtown Chicago is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join the growing team. This well established firm offers excellent work life balance and will work closely with the leadership team. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to transition out of public accounting into a corporate setting.

Competitive salary, targeting 85k-120k based off experience level

Responsibilities : Senior Tax Accountant

  • Support tax compliance for 40+ entities (trusts, partnerships, corps, nonprofit)
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors
  • Prepare filings, extensions, and year-end workpapers
  • Assist with audits, research, and tax planning
  • Recommend process improvements and support special projects

    • Experience Preferred : Senior Tax Accountant

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of tax accounting experience, public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and excellent PC skill
