Salary :

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Execute KidSpring Missions, Pillars and Standards (MPS) while aligning it with the overall vision of NewSpring Church
  • Stay relationally unified with the Campus Pastor, Campus Staff, and Ministry Support teams
  • Assist KidSpring Director in developing assigned Ministry Area Leaders, focused on personal, spiritual, and professional development as outlined in our Leader Playbook
  • Assist KidSpring Director in building ministry teams through recruiting and retaining volunteers
  • Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.

Additional Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Give and receive feedback on KidSpring vision and values, and address issues when values are off.
  • Assist the KidSpring Director in developing volunteer Lead Teams by regularly meeting to pray for and evaluate the success of the KidSpring vision and values.
  • Maintain accurate rosters in Rock, knowing and recruiting for specific roles that exist inside each area of KidSpring, setting goals for recruiting needs
  • Develop area leaders / service coaches with bi-weekly meetings discussing goals focused on personal, spiritual, and professional development
  • Seek out ways to show care for volunteers, parents, and kids by :

    • Being visibly present in KidSpring, speaking to volunteers, parents, and kids

  • Following up on any opportunity to show extra care for kids and families (example : school / home / hospital visits)
  • Plan, create, and maintain fun and safe environments for kids that are engaging, inviting, and developmentally appropriate.
  • Serve and participate in campus-specific events and activities as they are scheduled.

  • This role is full-time time 40 hours per week.
  • A high school diploma is required. Childrens Ministry experience is preferred.
  • This role adheres to a standard schedule, knowing it may fluctuate at times & based on certain needs. Standard schedule is :

    • Sunday : 7 : 30am-1 : 30pm

  • Monday : 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm
  • Tuesday : 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm
  • Wednesday : 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm
  • Thursday : 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm
  • Friday / Saturday : check in on rosters and adjust as needed
