Traveler RNs - On Call and Weekend Requirements On call rate for travel RNs :

• On call 2 per month (max 3 per month) o We have a non-clinical person taking all initial calls 4 : 30pm- 8 : 30am, so the RN only receives true clinical issues.
• $7 / hour on call rate o Get paid regular hourly rate for any patient phone triage / patient home visits.
• On call is 4 : 30pm – 8am (sometimes the shift is assigned as 4 : 30 – 8 : 30pm or 8 : 30pm – 8 : 00am) o We do not make patient home visits from 8 : 30pm – 8 : 00am ? Phone triage only; maybe 1-2 calls from 8 : 30pm- 10 : 00pm and rarely a phone call from 10 : 00pm – 7 : 00am.
