This pivotal role within Ford's Industrial System IT group is centered on advancing the company's Product Creation & Virtual Manufacturing Processes through strategic technology implementation and upgrades. The Specialist will primarily focus on Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) domain applications and solutions, ensuring their successful deployment and evolution.

Must Have Position Qualifications and Experiences :

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent technical field.
  • Over 10 years of total experience in managing Software / technology projects within the PLM domain.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and SAFe certification.
  • Working experience in implementing projects using Agile Project Management Methodologies.
  • Working experience in managing infrastructure for large applications hosted in multiple regions.

  • The ability to guide, motivate, and influence diverse teams and stakeholders without direct hierarchical authority.
  • Articulating complex technical information clearly to various audiences, facilitating discussions, and presenting compelling arguments.
  • Understanding how technology initiatives align with broader business goals and contributing to long-term strategic objectives.
  • Skillfully mediating disagreements, finding common ground, and negotiating favorable outcomes with internal and external parties.
  • Deeply analyzing issues, evaluating solutions, and making data-driven decisions under pressure.
  • Comfortably navigating ambiguity, embracing change, and effectively managing unexpected challenges or setbacks.
  • Overseeing external technology providers, managing relationships, and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
  • Effectively forecasting, tracking, and managing project budgets to ensure financial prudence and adherence to allocated resources.

  • Please note : This is a hybrid role, you are expected to relocate if you are not within commutable distance, and responsible to be onsite 4 days per week
