Branch Manager

We are seeking a Branch Manager who is confident leading people, building accountability, and creating a strong team culture rooted in exceptional member service.

At PSCU, branch leadership is highly visible and hands-on. Our Branch Managers do more than oversee daily operations they coach employees, strengthen service standards, identify opportunities for improvement, and help move the Credit Union forward.
Because we are a smaller institution, leaders here work closely with senior management, collaborate across departments, and have direct influence on both team development and member experience.
What Success Looks Like
- Lead, coach, and develop branch employees through clear expectations, feedback, and ongoing support
- Foster a positive, accountable branch culture aligned with PSCU service standards
- Oversee branch operations, including teller activity, lending support, balancing, scheduling, and operational oversight
- Identify process improvements and help keep procedures, training, and branch practices current
- Partner with leadership across departments to support initiatives that improve member service and operational consistency
- Support staff growth while maintaining strong daily execution
What Youll Bring
- Leadership experience in banking, credit union, retail finance, or another service-driven environment
- Confidence managing people, accountability, and daily branch priorities
- Strong communication skills and sound professional judgment
- Ability to coach employees with both encouragement and accountability
- Comfort balancing member needs, operational priorities, and team development
- Flexibility to support multiple branch locations and occasional Saturday hours
Helpful Experience (But Not Required)
- Credit union experience
- Lending or branch operations experience
- Experience training others, improving processes, or updating procedures
- Exposure to compliance, audits, or branch controls
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in business, finance, leadership, or related field is beneficial
- Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in financial services, branch operations, or leadership-based service environments
- Must hold or be able to obtain a Notary designation
- Must hold or be able to obtain a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) number within 90 days of hire if not already licensed
Compensation & Schedule
- Full-Time | Exempt
- Standard business hours MondayFriday, with rotating Saturday support
- Ability to report to multiple branch locations required
