Start Date : As Soon As Possible End Date : June 26, 2026 Salary Range : $109.31 to $120.25 per day Schedule : Monday – Friday 7 : 30am – 2 : 15pm Location : Albany, NY

SmartStart Education seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional to work with small groups of elementary and middle school students Monday - Friday at a school near Albany, NY .

• Collaborate with special education teachers to support each student's specific needs.
• Provide direct support to students in various educational settings, including classrooms, resource rooms, and other learning environments.
• Assist in the development and implementation of instructional materials and activities designed to enhance academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Monitor student progress and behavior, documenting observations and reporting findings to the supervising teacher.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the social and emotional development of students.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to privacy laws and school policies.
• Assist with the organization and management of classroom materials and resources.
• Collaborate with other school staff, such as therapists, counselors, and administrators, to support student development.
• Attend training sessions, workshops, and meetings as required to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned by the administration.
