Pay Range : $15 - $17 / hour based on experience

Lot Porter / Detail Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, jumping dead batteries, and replacing batteries when necessary.
  • Clean and refurbish vehicles to the highest standards, including interior and exterior detailing, waxing, polishing, and buffing in an quick and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all vehicles are inspected for damage, stains, or other issues and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
  • Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the Used Car Manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
  • Drive vehicles to and from service lane, auto auctions, and parking lot as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the detailing area and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Keep an inventory of detailing supplies and notify management when supplies need to be ordered.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure all vehicles are completed within a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and management.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

    Lot Porter / Detail Qualifications

  • Able to work a full time schedule and weekends.
  • Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
  • Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Have previous automotive detailing experience
