Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for an outstanding ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Augusta, Georgia .

Contract Type : Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine (MD / DO)

Duration : Ongoing, strong potential for extension

Schedule :

6 Physician shifts per day

5 APP shifts per day

20 shifts per month coverage needed (flexible scheduling available)

Shift Times (MD) :

6 : 30 AM – 6 : 30 PM

10 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM

12 : 00 PM – 10 : 00 PM

2 : 00 PM – 10 : 00 PM

6 : 00 PM – 2 : 00 AM

9 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Shift Times (APP) :

6 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

12 : 00 PM – 10 : 00 PM

5 : 00 PM – 3 : 00 AM

8 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM

Patient Volume : ~54,000 annual visits

Patients per Hour : ~1.6

ED Beds : 30, plus PIT area and sub-waiting area

Admitting Orders : Not required

Trauma Level : Level II Trauma Center

EMR : Meditech

Provider Requirements

Active Georgia Medical License

Board Certified – ABEM only

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Medicine experience post-residency

Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
