PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide supervisory support and guidance to payroll staff, including daily workflow coordination, training, and issue resolution
- Support the full cycle processing of multiple payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Support payroll activities related to an acquisition, including both short-term and long-term activities
- Oversight of payroll transactions such as direct deposit file transfers, weekly payment of all payroll taxes, and ensuring timely submission of payroll wires and check requests
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations and collective bargaining agreements
- Maintain and update union and payroll reference documentation
- Collaborate closely with Payroll / HR Management, IT, and Accounting / Finance to resolve payroll issues and support system enhancements
- Support administration and tracking of employee leave programs
- Assist with payroll audits, reporting, system upgrades, testing, and process improvement initiatives

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS :
The base salary range for this position is $62,500 – $85,000.

The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include : individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
