We are seeking a Repair technician. The Repair Technician is responsible for performing advanced techniques in various areas of construction trades responding to emergency and non-emergency service jobs. Responsibilities include maintaining a fully stocked and prepared company vehicle to drive to work sites, preparing, maintaining, and cleaning work areas, and performing repairs per the scope of work and project manager direction.

What You Will Do :

The Repair Technician will perform the following duties along with any additional duties as assigned by management per business needs.

• Perform light carpentry, framing, drywall, paint, trim and other aspects of common repair work.
• Prepare rooms / areas for work activities to include setting up staging areas, equipment and content protection.
• Provide directions to subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas to include securely storing equipment and supplies while not in use.
• Interface with customers and relay information to Project Manager or Superintendent when appropriate.
• Complete paperwork, upload documents, and provide job updates into database as needed.
• Complete punch list items with attention to detail.
• Maintain equipment in clean and working condition.
• Ensures tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety.
• Ensure the company vehicle is fully stocked and travel to a nearby home improvement store to purchase needed items.
• Monitor the safety, security, efficiency, and appearance of the company vehicle and appearance of job sites.
• Assist with demolition and general clean up as needed.
• Participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours service calls.
