Job Description
Project Engineer - Commercial Construction (Madison, WI)
A well-established commercial General Contractor in the Madison area is hiring a Project Engineer to support planning and execution on industrial, healthcare, education, corporate, and institutional projects. Ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who wants growth in a collaborative, high-performing culture that values safety, quality, and long-term success.
What you’ll do
- Support Project Managers / Superintendents with daily coordination and execution
- Review drawings, specs, and submittals; track RFIs and change orders
- Coordinate with subcontractors; assist with schedules and cost tracking
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
- Partner with field teams to uphold safety and quality standards
- Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners
- Participate in meetings, progress updates, and closeout
