Job Title : Support Team Trainer - Supporting Adults with Disabilities

Employment Type : Full-Time or Part-Time

Compensation : $19.50 / Hour

Position Overview : As a Support Team Trainer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of the individuals we serve.

Your responsibilities may include, but is not limited to (see full job description on our website for more details) :

  • Providing direct care and support to adults with disabilities in their homes and the community, supporting / training individuals in many aspects of their lives to promote health, wellness, empowerment, and growth such as social skills, meaningful activities, soft skills, grocery shopping, transportation, medical appointments / medications, being a valued member of their community, meal planning / cooking, cleaning / laundry, personal care / hygiene, and behavioral support, etc.
  • Documenting and maintaining records of individual progress and support.

Requirements : To succeed in this role, you should possess :

  • Compassion and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and flexibility to adapt to various needs and situations.
  • A valid California driver's license, valid car insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to clear a department of justice (DOJ) background check / drug screening.
